Ahhh.... I don't like the sense of smell - there are so many stinky scents out there! I'm halfway there, so I feel the baby move, don't get sick anymore, I'm actually having a good time! :) PLUS: we've got an excuse to be big and eat what we want (within reason) lol
My absolute favorite thing is feeling the baby move. I do LOVE my belly too, but nothing compares to feeling that baby moving around in there. It is also a daily confirmation that things are going ok. It does, however, suck when they are getting so big that they don't have enough room to move in and it gets somewhat painful.
hehe pregnancy definitely makes you feel superhuman...just wait until you give birth. You can look at any male in the room, point, and laugh triumphantly. such power in those hips!!!!
LOL Ashelen! I guess I hadn't thought about it from that perspective!!
I guess I didn't appreciate my sense of smell either on the drive home today. I had the outside vent turned on and I could smell someone smoking three cars away :( That wasn't so lovely. But otherwise, it's still cool to feel super-human for awhile :)
My belly....I used to obsess over having a flat belly and would do crunches until I puked...but now I obsess over having a nice big round one. And I love how it changes shape when the baby changes position...and how you can see it move when he kicks...I love how beautiful my belly makes me feel, and how very feminine. I get comments from my husband at least a few times a week about how feminine or seductive I look when I'm pregnant, and he doesn't realize how often he says it, lol.
I just wanted to add that I have a toddler so the sense of smell is low on my list of things I enjoy....those diapers can really knock you out with heightened senses, LOL.
I am absolutely loving that I have no morning sickness at all this pregnancy. I think it is the best thing in the world! I was so sick my last two pregnancies that this one seems so unreal... I am so thankful for that and the little bean is growing ahead of schedule (4 days every time I get an ultrasound)!
