Need Advice Ladies Please

-As many of you already know I am being induced Sunday night at 8PM . (Only 4 days left)

I am very very excited, and nervous.

I've been told by many people that since these are my Last days I should just rest all that I can. I've also been told to walk walk walk. So what do u ladies think I should do.

Yesterday I walked 3 hours at the mall and I was thinking about going right now and walking more. '

Let me know what u ladies think.

Thanks ladies, I think ill walk a little today and then just rest in the afternoon when dh gets home from work. We are both so excited that the moment is actually coming.

Oh yeah I forgot to mention that I'm 1cm dilated and 100 percent effaced. :) the doctor says I just need a few good contractions to get things going . So any ideas for contractions. I mean even if they don't work for me its okay its worth a shot. Dh and I have tried sex and it does make me have some contractions but not strong enough.

Whichever you feel like. Leading up to my daughter's birth, I could NOT sit still...like I would literally sit down and then jump up and beg my husband to go walking with me again...I was walking 2-3 miles a day leading up to her delivery. With my son, however, he was sitting so low and I was having so many problems that just getting around the house was a chore.

I do believe that walking in late pregnancy helps make your delivery easier, and even better SWIMMING....because it helps to loosen up the pelvis and stretch things GENTLY and SAFELY.

So..I would say...if you feel like walking, walk. It's a great way to help the body prepare for labor and help position baby....but you should also rest as much as possible, so try to split the activities so you're not doing too much of either. Be sure to spend every second with your significant other.

Well it all depends on how you feel in my opinion. Also it helps to be a little dilated when going for induction. Then again by walking so much you could bring labor on naturally which is a good thing. If i were you and was not to tired i would go walk some but be sure to rest as well.
