Nesting!!

I was just wondering if anyone has been nesting or done it in the past?  I don't think I did last time, but lately, I've been doing laundry like a madwoman and I just made a pie!  Granted, Baby has been craving banana cream pie for the last 3 days, so I had to oblige him/her and now that I'm off work, I've got more time on my hands and I'm trying to keep busy......so maybe it's not really nesting.

I nested with my daughter at about 37wks... but I think I've started early with this one, which is going to drive me crazy because I'm still on bed-rest... Last night I made my husband go buy toilet-bowl cleaner at 11PM and I sat there scrubbing the toilet for about 20 minutes because I couldn't stand the thought of it being dirty... and today after taking a bath with my daughter, I drained the tub and got ready for a shower but noticed there was some dirt on the tub so I sat there shivering and wet scrubbing at it until it was clean before I was able to convince myself to finish up and shower, LOL. Every time I go into the kitchen I cheat and scrub something or organize something until my husband notices that I've been up too long and chases me back to bed... this is going to be a very long next 6 months... but very clean ones!!!!

i nested. oh boy did i nest!!! my house had never been so clean before. lol. i was scrubbing the walls and ceilings, bedding was washed every other day, there was not a speck of dust in that house. lol.

i still occasionally get like that. (but i'm not pregnant...)

typically from what I have read, nesting occurs right at the end where If one starts to get all in the mood to clean, bake, get stuff done out of the blue then you know its a matter of time before the big day. I am just about 38 weeks pregnant now and noticed in the last few days my need to finalize things, getting bags packed, cleaning etc. Like it hit me out of no where like someone lit a fire under my butt. LOL.

ya know it's funny, before I even found out I was pregnant this time, I had several days where I went nuts cleaning the house, I mean I really went crazy. BUt I have had the nesting period withmy past pregnancies too.  Wanna see something funny? Watch an 8 month pregnant woman put together a changing table and a dresser by herself LOL

ye i totally was nesting.for months before baby was born my house could never be clean enough the day before i was scheduled for my section my df left for work with me holding the sweeping brush in my hand and he came home that evening and it was still in my hand lol.i cleaned under beds sofas everywhere at least once a week before my dd came.i remember coming home from the hospital and the house was gleaming i thought he was after getting a cleaner in he said it was that way since i left lol.he was afraid to eat in kitchen so he just ordered takeouts and stayed in the bedroom the whole time i was in hospital because he thought  would go psycho if hoise was dirty when i came home lol.i think i went way overboard with the nesting.that was 2 years ago im 18 weeks pregnant and havent started nesting as such but like you im doing laudry like crazy cant bear to see it build up in hamper.
