No sign of period?

I gave birth 6/23 and my bleeding slowed down the first week of July and started up again followed by period like cramping. So I was thinking that was my period. Now its a month later and no sign of my period. My fiance have been TTC also, I've taken two pregnancy tests and both negative. Is it normal for it to be irregular?

It can take up to 6 wks for your period to return post partum, then a little longer to regulate itself, maybe start temping first until you get another period then use opk's as well, good luck hun :)

Oh yeah! It can definitely be irregular for a while after birth. I had the normal bleeding to begin with for up to 2 weeks after I had my son. Then it stopped and 3-4 weeks later I had my period. It sucked too, the cramps were terrible. But then after that went away after a week, it was only 2 weeks later and i had another one. But after a couple months it was back to regular, til I got preg again LOL that was last Sept that i had my son and I'm 32 weeks now
