Not feeling so good in the morning - 5weeks

So for the past 4 days, I have not been feeling good at all in the mornings.  I am extremely thirsty, but everytime I drink something, it makes me even more sick.  I know I should be eating better the night before, but I just can seem to find something that I like to eat and don't necessarily feel like eating.... then by the AM I am starving and not feeling good....

Anybody have any suggestions?

I'm 38 weeks and have had nausea and vomitting the ENTIRE time...Over the past few months I've finally figured out that I can't EVER let myself get hungry.....or I vomit......I know that it's probably not the healthiest, but when I have to force myself to eat, I find that carbs are the answer.......I have little things of Easy Mac (bad, I know) that take 3 min. to cook in the microwave....and they've saved me from getting sick so many times!  I've only gained 19 lbs., so the carbs aren't causing excessive weight gain or anything....Once I eat carbs, I find that I can better tolerate the more healthy foods like salads, fruits, etc......So try to never let yourself get hungry!

thanks!  I have been trying to eat smaller meals throughout the day, but it's just not working....  I'll have to find something to eat before bed... I absolutely hate this queasy feeling in the mornings....

Right now, the only thing that seems to take away the nauseous feeling is cheezies... weird - I know.

Congratsssssssss, welcome to mourning sickness.

The best thing is to eat healthy, if you cant eat big meals, eat small six meals. Or if you eat a meal early evening, eat a snack b4 bed.  Once preggo, your body demands more glucose, and you need glucose for energy etc.  Keep a white soda and saltine crackers at the bed side, for in the mourning to help the nausea.

But i really suggest the 6small meals, your body does need food and as bryann said, not eating can make you sick.  Im not preggo and get a little sick when i miss eating dinner and just go to sleep.

I hope you feel better, keep us posted on what your trying to help you feel better.

Early in this pregnancy, around 5 - 7 weeks I wouldnt feel like eating much in the evening or at night and I would wake up in the morning starving and not feeling good. My doctor told me I wasn't feeling good because it had been so many hours since I had ate anything. And he said I had to start eating something at night even if I didn't feel like it. So I started eating either a banana or apple, or a couple pieces of whole wheat toast, and now in the mornings I don't feel nauseaus and can stomach my breakfast, and now I haven't had a single time of morning sickness or anything. So I would recommend eating something, whether you feel like it or not.
