OT: And maybe a little too soon?

So I was wondering how all of you moms were able to lose your baby weight. I know some lose their weight quicker than others as everyone is different. But do you have any tips on how I can lose the baby weight and the extra poundage I have and will gain aside from baby fat.

Im 4'9 and at 130 pounds so far at 5 months preggers. I need to lose the pudge that I have after I have babies, inner thigh flub and umm my HUGE non toned butt needs work lol.

Any tips, suggestions, diets, ect....would be very helpful, Im looking at trying to lose a few before baby comes as im a bit over weight for my height and I want to be as health as I can while baby is still cooking.

During pregnancy I worked out all the way until the end and tried to eat as healthy as I possibly could (with occasional slip ups! haha). After I had the baby and the 6 week post pardum wait I started to eat healthy and work out again. Just crunches and running on a tread and the stair master. Hopefully this will help you! :)

Its a very bad idea to try and lose weight while you are pregnant - a very bad idea.

Once baby is born, if you can breast feed that will burn 500 calories a day (3500 = 1 Ib).  Implementing a healthy diet, limiting calorie intake, and partaking in an exercise program will result in weight loss.  To key to weight loss is actually pretty simple - burn more calories than you take in.  Either cutting calories out of diet or burning more calories than you take in are the only ways to do this.  The key is finding a program that suits you.

Thank you so much! I have an appointment on the 30th and will ask my OB what I can do, and maybe schedule a healthy eating plan as well. Thanks so much again.

Girl I wish I knew the answer to your question. I wish I could have lost my sons baby weight that quick, its been 7 years and still here! Ugh! :o) Now with my daughter it just fell off quick. My best advice, if you feel up to it, is start excersizing. Ask your dr what you can and can't do. That way when the lil one comes it will be easier on you!
