All of the above are great suggestions. The oatmeal bath really helped me. You should also ask your doctor about 1% hydrocortisone cream.
Talk to your Dr. About dandelion root. My SIL had puppps and I searched and found info on this. She talked to her midwife and ended up trying it and getting some relief.
I had my baby 2 weeks ago.. so is this normal?!
It doesn't subside until after you deliver unfortunately hun my friend had it and the stuff I mentioned above really helped her. I really hope you feel better.
I used dove soap and that helped. Also oatmeal baths. Totally made me miserable. It went away a couple days after giving birth.
What is it? And where?I haven't heard if it before!
My friend had this, and the doctors said the only real cure is having the baby.. And pupps is more common if you're having a boy.
Put oatmeal in a sock and when you shower use it to wash your body it will relieve itching. Also try nd get some goldbond anti itch lotion
Avoid hot showers and baths, which can dry out your skin and make the itching worse. Use mild, unscented soap (some scents can cause irritation) and be sure to rinse the soap off well and towel off lightly.
Take an occasional warm oatmeal bath. (You can buy oatmeal bath preparations in drugstores.)
Slather on unscented moisturizer after you've showered or bathed.
Try putting cool, wet compresses on itchy areas.
Avoid going out in the heat of the day, since heat can intensify the itching.
Wear loose, smooth cotton clothing.
