You need to call you doctor ASAP! My sister in law is 24 weeks pregnant and has been hospitalized this weekend after suffering shortness of breath. Turns out she is suffering from preeclampsia(spelling?) They are being very straight forward with her and telling her that her baby will not live if she can't keep him in there until at least 28 weeks. She is committed to her hospital bed until 32 weeks if she can hang on to him that long.
I don't mean to scare tou, but any irregular feelings should be run by your doctor immediately. This is their job and they know that. This has really hit close to home as I am also pregnant. Please call your doctor.
Did you call your doctor yet??? I really hope so.....I am having internet problems at home so I will be looking for an update in the morning. Lots of prayers your way!!!
Yea... Morning sickness, lol. But seriously, don't wait til the 22nd, get your appointment today!!!!!~
Decrease in urine could mean your having strain on your kidneys. (that's part of why they check your urine for protien) basically if thats the case it means your body cant process it right and is spilling protien into your kidneys.
(and were you talking to me about the baby??? lol, if so.. it's fine, I'm getting another ultrasound on the 22nd of this month.. yay)
but you need to make an appointment ASAP since Preeclampsia can progress quickly when there is not any medical monitoring.
I have also been very very neauseas including right now and the stars will not go away? Any advice on y I would be this neauseas at this time?
That scares the s***out of me
I found this via Google.....
Preeclampsia is a disorder that occurs only during pregnancy and the postpartum period and affects both the mother and the unborn baby. Affecting at least 5-8% of all pregnancies, it is a rapidly progressive condition characterized by high blood pressure and the presence of protein in the urine. Swelling, sudden weight gain, headaches and changes in vision are important symptoms; however, some women with rapidly advancing disease report few symptoms.
Typically, preeclampsia occurs after 20 weeks gestation (in the late 2nd or 3rd trimesters or middle to late pregnancy), though it can occur earlier. Proper prenatal care is essential to diagnose and manage preeclampsia. Preeclampsia, Pregnancy Induced Hypertension (PIH) and toxemia are closely related conditions. HELLP Syndrome and eclampsia are other manifestations of the same syndrome. It is important to note that research shows that more women die from preeclampsia than eclampsia and one is not necessarily more serious than the other.
Preeclampsia and other hypertensive disorders of pregnancy are a leading global cause of maternal and infant illness and death. By conservative estimates, these disorders are responsible for 76,000 deaths each year.
Diareah is a sign of preterm labor thats the sign that is making me really scared. I have also need to use the bathroom a ton but a huge decrese in urine is this normal?
A huge symptom of Preclampsia is bleeding. This happens when the placenta seperates from the mother. But diarhea is a sign of preterm labor. Excesive swelling is never good and you should call your Dr. ASAP....Let us know
I hope everything is okay! I'll be looking for your post!! Good luck and God bless you and your little one!!
Ok I will call when I go to lunch at 3CT I will let yall know what they say when I get back from lunch.
NO!! CALL NOW! This is very serious and can be fatal to both you and the baby if not treated. I don't want to scare you either, but it is very serious. My SIL has delivered all 3 of her babies early because of this. She went for her routine appt. They checked her B/P and her urine and sent her straight over to the hospital. Also, if you have it once, there is a 1 in 3 change you will have it with any future pregnancies. Please call your doc now and let us know what he/she says!!!
Do yall think I could wait until my appt on the 22nd or is this to serious to wait? (Sorry if that sounds stupid)

Thanks I really appriciate your help. Hows the baby?
I agree with Michele, if it's preeclampsia the dr's can treat you and keep an eye on you to make sure it doesn't develop into Eclampsia, basically they're gonna look for protien in your urine, your BP and swelling of your face, hands, and feet.
If it develops into Eclampsia, both you and the baby could die, it's VERY serious. but don't let me scare you please, just call your dr. today and get an emergency appointment.
yes please.my cousin delivered her baby at 7 months due to preeclampsia recently..very serious honey..yea you should go get checked out.they will take your blood pressure and check for protein in your urine..keep us updated
I would def call your doc ASAP. Preeclampsia can be very serious if not treated right away.
No I havnt taken my bloodpressure my feet have been a little swolen but not as bad as my face?
The baby is moving quite a bit more than normal but that could be because im getting farther along!
diareah isnt usually a sign of preeclampsia.i dont know about preterm labor but a swollen face is..have your feet been swollen as well..or anywhere else?have you taken your blood pressure lately?
you should call your doctor...if there is somthing wrong they can catch it and if they don't find anything it will put your mind at ease. Good luck girl!
Thanks Im just really concerned.
i don't know ...sound serious thought....why don't you give the doctor a call?
