Pregnancy & Yeast Infection Help

so my doctor recommended two types of cure for it & one of them was a monistat but I can't remember which one it was exactly . Help I bought monistat 7 I guess that's the real extreme one any suggestions

Oh gosh, I do love that pill.  ha.  That is difucan and it wipes out the yeast infection super fast.  This is what my doctor gives too.  Maybe you can return the Monostat 7 for one that you use for fewer days??  I know my grocery will return unopened things like that.  Or you can just use it for the 7 days.  Try eating probiotic yogurt as well (I like Dannon Activia) or take a probiotic supplement.  good luck hon

and so far I haven't had any odor nor itching just the heavy discharge

so I bought the wrong one :( they tried to give me a pill to take it was only one but I have a hard time taking pills so I didn't want to get the pill not be able to take it then is left assed out

Hi there.  Actually Monostat 7 has the lesser active ingredient in it.  The 7 stands for how many days you use it.  And there is more medicine in the ones marked for lesser days.  I've used Monostat 1 day which has the highest concentration of medicine in it and it worked well but it still took 2 full days to clear up the yeast infection.  :>((  Good luck hon.  Yeast infections stink

I know that lol I just couldn't remember which monistat it was but I was pretty sure they recommend the same thing for all of us so I asked to get a second or third confirmation

The doctor wouldn't suggest any type of treatment that would harm the baby they are licensed they know what they are doing trust me :)

My doctor prescribed Monistat 7 also. The Monistat 3 are actually stronger and not as safe. The Monistat 7 is what you need most likely. Take care
