Pregnancy and Herpes

Didn't know if I should post here or on the herpes forum, but here it goes....
Ok, I posted a question related to this when I was 28 weeks, but now at 32 weeks I am getting a little worried. At about 26 weeks I noticed a single lesion in my genital area and was a little concerned as I have never seen one before. To make a long story short the diagnosis was HSV-2. The doctor told me that I shouldn't worry as long as I don't have another "breakout" close to the time of delivery. He said he would perscribe me Valtrex at 36 weeks. Now at 32 weeks I have another lesion, but in a different spot down there. Question is, should I have a C section because of this matter? I'm really confused about the whole situation because I've just recently found out about this, and finding this out while i'm pregnant is even worse. When I ask my doctor all my worrisome questions he just brushes it off like it's not an issue. Any advice?

I dont think the baby can get it if there is no open lesion...you should look online...

Thanks. But i know there is still a possibility of spreading herpes without a lesion present. Is a vaginal birth really safe even without a lesion?

If you have a breakout when you go into labor the doc will do an emergency c section.  If youre on Valtrex you probably wont have a breakout...it can be transmitted to the baby if you have a lesion at the time of vaginal birth.
