Right side rib pain

I'm 26 weeks along and have had terrible pain in my right ribs for about 2 weeks now.. pain is both on the front and back of my ribs and makes laying on my right side impossible... anybody else experience this? Is it normal?

The baby could be getting in your rib cage. I know my daughter gets in my ribcage and it hurts from time to time I'm also 35 weeks though

Is it unbearable? If it feels like heartburn but dosen't go away after all you can do it may be your gallbaldder.

It's not unbearable necessarily just extremely uncomfortable.. doesn't really feel like heartburn either..more like somebody punched me in the ribs and they're really bruised or something

That's how my right side feels to!!! I touch it and it feels like when you touch a bruise you have! Plus for me it hurts really bad that I can't sit on a hard surface because it will just get unbearable and uncomfortable once lay down it calm down though

I think it's your diaphragm muscle. And like any other muscle it can get sore. Try abdominal breathing, stretching sideways and if it doesn't go away I'd go get a massage.

Same thing for me. I had the same experience with my first pregnancy and now it's happening again with my second I've always assumed it's the baby near my ribs making them feel sore but I'm really not sure.
