Second cousins pregnancy help

I'm dating my second cousin, on my mother's side (my mother's cousin). We are related by my grandfather who is her mother's half brother. What is the percentage of risk of birth defects/ complications if we are to get pregnant ?
Also my lover is 45 years old & has never given birth, also to be considered.

I think then you posted it on the wrong forum.  There is a forum that goes to doctors.  it has a medical sign next to it.  I think you have to pay for the answers....  There are no doctors that will give you an answer here.  try reposting under the OTHER forum.

yikes.... family IS family... there is always a risk.

Family is family and there could be a risk. Since he is your 2nd cousin it may not be as high of a risk if it was your first but it could still be a big risk.
