Sick of being sick

I'm pregnant with my second, my first was a girl, and I only got sick at night, but this time around I get sick all day everyday. So i'm wondering is it going to be a boy? I really hope so...What can I do to try to stop the morning sickness?

i completely feel you, I was sick all pregnancy and ended up havinf to be prescribed zofran, this little pill was a miracle... i lost 15 lbs in 2 weeks before it and i just couldnt keep on losing weight for the baby's health... but before that doctor made me try, ginger ale and ginger tea, he also suggested eating a piece of chocolate before even sitting up in bed, saltine crackers, benadryl, vitamin b6, unisom sleep aide, and lastly he just gave up and gave me the zofran... dont ask me why he recommended the last 3 as i cant remember how he said they would help, but they didnt for me... vitamin b6 though is for energy and that it did help with.. it helped me stay awake longer during the day and more active... I would recommend asking your doctor for something to relief the symptoms as you need to have a good diet and I KNOW how hard that can be when ur so sick...
Btw add a little honey to your ginger tea when drinking it cayse like superchoc said it doesnt taste good by itself

Good luck! hope you feel better soon!

With my first girl I never threw up. With my second girl I had to check where all the bathrooms were before I went somewhere so that I would have time to reach them. Every pregnancy is different. I took motion sickness medicine which helped a decent amount and then my doctor prescribed me nom drowst anti nausea pills which wear amazing. Ask your doctor if they have anything you can sample or be prescribed.

every pregnancy is different. with my daughter i was sick for about 5 months solid, then this wee man i was only sick one day. mind you i felt ill until into the 20's week.

eat a banana/biscuit as soon as you wake in the morning. something to fill your stomach and keep eating. try eating eggs & cheese as these are rich in protein and that helps. i know the obvious is red meat but im sure you dont fancy puking a steak if the occasion was to arise lol  try get fluids like a glucose energy drink. your doctor may prescribe some anti sickness tablets. everyone uses ginger biscuits, pieces or if you buy some ginger and put it into hot water like a drink should help but being honest, it is horrible but we all try everything when it gets that bad :)
