Spontaneous misscarriage

This is what i been going thru for the past couple off weeks. I found out i was pregnant may15 1st time pregnany, and did get an appt till the 30th. at my first appt the gave me a pregnancy test and it came out positive at 6weeks. So since i hadn't had pap so my dr suggested to have one done that day apparently everything was fine. Then he scheduled my ultrasound the next week. I had the ultrasound both types stomach and vaginal and i was 8 weeks 1day  everything seem good heart beat was good and did all my blood work and it was fine. So may 11 i had and ultrasound appt with a specialist for downsyndrom ( no one in both our familes have had any problems this was just a precausion test)at that appt i find out baby hasn'y grown i'ts shrinking and no heartbeat. As u can imagine i was in shock a million things going thru my head. Well then i was sent to anothet dr since mine was on vacation. Well comfirm there was no heartbeat and wanted my dr to do a d&c. So my dr gave me the option of inserting meds for a miscarriage to happen and regardless wanted to see next morning. (i never spotted cramped so i still did'nt understand what went wrong) so my dr walk me thru what was going to happen 8-12hrs but only cramping and bleeding happend no fetus tissue came out just cloths. So the next day since no tissue was found he gave me another dosage. Well that made the tissue come out it was hard to find  but i saw it two black dots two arms like paddles and two feet like pattles it was tiny. I took it in with everything that came out to lab. The next day at midnight something else came out that was more painfull then the first time.it was bigger didn't know what it was i thought everything was done i was worried so i took that in as well to the lab. I took pix of both tissues and the last one looks like a baby too bigger though so it seems their was two babys the ultrasounf showed only one and it was the littlr one. So today i got the results from the lab and the first tissue i took was unknown only cloths apparently but the second tissue was the baby. So my question is could it be that the dr didnt want to tell me there was two babys? The pix do show two babys just way different in size. Could the pap that i had done affected my pregnancy? Whu was only the little fetus shown in the ultrasound but was denied at the lab as a baby? And the bigger one was the actual baby according to the lab but never saw it in the ultrasound where was it? Sorry for this beeing to long but i need more clearly answers. It just doesnt make any sense right now.

Doctors wouldn't hide it. That's just not something they do. It's genetic testing, so I don't know how it would be wrong. How do you know the ultrasound only showed the little one you saw?

As for the pap, no they don't cause a miscarriage.

first im sorry for your loss. misscarriages are hard. paps are important and dont cause harm during prenancy and sometimes a larger baby will hide a smaller one and im sure the your doctor did not hide any thing knowingly and misscarriage is more common that alot of women think these things happen in nature to no fault of your own or your doctor

First i'm very sorry for your loss...But like above posters have said, the pap wouldn't be the cause they are done all the time and are important...and I don't see your doctor hiding anything from you, and like the above poster said a lot of the time a larger baby will hide a smaller one...and miscarriage's are very common it's not your fault...Just try to keep your head up in this time...and try not to have negative thoughts of people hiding things from you...
