Spotting.

Today would have been 10 days past due for my period. I was at work and i went to the bathroom and there was some blood. It was darker but when i wiped it was red. It has been doing it for the past seven hours and hasn't stopped. I don't think it is my period. I called my girlfriend and she said her friend was bleeding steadily for 2 days and was pregnant.  And her mom had her period for 3 weeks while she was pregnant with her. I have been trying to google it but haven't came up with anything. And you ladies help me alot so, the question is Is it possible to have more than just a dab of blood on your panties? Has this ever happened to anyone on here? Please help!!! THANKS

Well, I have heard that some women can bleed quite a lot and maintain a pregnancy, I however, miscarried about 10 days after my period was due. Have you taken a test yet???

Yes on dec 28th and it came up negative. But I just know I didn't take it right. This is my first time and I dont know which it is. I am so confused. And I am scared to use a tampon because what if it is spotting?  My period is normally heavy on the first day, but this isn't that heavy but its not super light like everyone posts about.  And then on the flip side I was one here and one of the ladies told me to sleep on my left side holding a pillow it enduces the spotting. Which I have done for the past three nights. So is it a coincidence or am I just crazy.

It's so hard to say, I took so many tests before I came up very faintly pos. I was about 8 days late before it actually was + and 2 days later I miscarried. I'd say if you aren't in a lot of pain, its probably good. Are you able to go to the dr. to get anything confirmed, that would probably be your best bet. I'm pregnant again now, and I didn't get any spotting or implantation cramps. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.

No, all I have is slight cramps.  And that is another thing, normally the first day of my cylce is hell and today all I had was cramps. No back ache. I wasn't irritable. It's wierd. I called around and where I live all they do is urine tests but I can't be bleeding. Do you think that clinic test are more sensitvie to HCGs than a HPT? And Well thanks for trying anyway! No, I don't think that they are any more sensitive. I'd buy like a good 1st Response or something.
