Triphasic Chart??

So last cycle I had what looked like a triphasic chart and a 2nd patch of EWCM on 7dpo. I rarely get EWCM near ovulation (just one day of watery and then creamy) and never after ovulation (except during my last pregnancy). The combination of a 2nd patch of fertile mucus and a triphasic chart threw me off, especially when I was 7 days late for my period. I usually have an 11 day luteal phase but last month was 18 days!!!

So I put it off as a weird cycle. Well, this month I got 1 day of EWCM followed by 2 days of abundant watery mucus on days 4 - 6 DPO AND  my cycle appears to be triphasic AGAIN!? What could be causing these triphasic patterns? I've been charting for awhile and the ONLY other time I had a triphasic chart and fertile mucus after ovulation was my pregnancy in Jan. 2010. I'm so confused. I thought I was pregnant because I had elevated temps for 18 days last cycle but my period started the next day and now this cycle looks like it might be following a similar pattern.

Anybody experience this? Why the fertile cm and triphasic charts!?!

Well my period finally showed up after being 3 days late. Guess the last two cycles are just wacky; hope next month is back to normal.

I would take that as a small but good sign of possible pregnancy as you usually see this in a pregnancy chart

Well still haven't started my period so it's pretty much 2 days late unless I start in the middle of the night. I'm pretty sure it's going to start soon, but if it hasn't arrived by Monday I will test.

So temp went up today from 97.33 to 97.9, and even if I adjust for the extra hour of sleep thats still 97.7 so I'm guessing my period won't start today? Usually my temps drop the day of my period; so confused. Just don't want to get my hopes up because this happened last month and I wasn't pregnant (unless it was an early miscarriage...)?

Thanks for the response :) I've heard about it right before your period before, but this was at 4 dpo so I was confused. My period is due tomorrow so I guess we will see!

Well, I wish you luck.  With the Triphasic chart...as you know from using FF, sometimes it means something and sometimes it doesn't.  The EWCM during that TWW might mean something though.  But it is normal to get that right before AF is due also.  If you normally have an 11 day LP, then you can probably test, but I would wait a day or 2 before testing.

Oh, and on the chart cycle day 22 should be labeled E for eggwhite cervical mucus but when I do that it changes my day of ovulation to and it doesn't match up with my other symptoms of ovulation that say I O'd on day 18 (so apparently fertility friend is confused, too. lol).
