Update on bleeding
This may be long so bear with me. I'm a very detailed person so I like to give all the details. Anyway I called the on-call doctor for the progesterone script, called DH and told him to come home. When he got home his mom called and asked if she could come over to help me with the girls. I said, "I don't know!" though I'm pretty sure it was incoherent and she just said, "I'm coming over" and hung up. She lives 5 blocks away, thank goodness.
So when she got there hubby ran to get the prescription which took 1 1/2 hours. My MIL made me lay on the couch with pillows under my hips and my little girls climbed all over me and we watched Little Orphan Annie. Well my MIL did some cleaning and kept giving me water so I kept having to get up to pee.
I STOPPED bleeding, even before I got the progesterone. The bleeding itself was dark red and pink (NOT bright red). I had no cramps or back pain. And I still don't have anymore bleeding but I'm still being a huge worry-wart. I tried so hard and for so long for our baby to be taken away.
Hubby stayed home today and made me stay in bed. But now I'm up and about and things appear okay. I put on maternity jeans for the first time this morning. I think all will be well but I thought for sure it was over. I went into the furthest room in our house, my laundry room, and shut the door and screamed. I'm about to call my doctor now to see if she wants to see me early or do an ultrasound or something.

When I read your post about bleeding, I was so sorry and even stressed about you, I just thought what should I write back to you???, maybe I sound root when I said be positive, relax, and I really knew that it is not so easy but I was thinking that from my heart.
When I'm scared I usually don't show that, I try to be strong and think positively (my dearest Mommy rest in peace, teach me that) that I'll survive no matter what will happened. After the rain comes sun!
I was checking your post hour by hour to get some new info, even I didn't respond to my DH when he asked me something, I was here somewhere, so he was telling me "are you talking with your net friends again???" so I have sheared your story with him, and explained him that from this forum I get knowledge for our future if something happens to me, it's better to be prepared and not to be scared.

Im sure everything is ok Joy some people do have a slight bleed whilst pregnant and all is ok. Just take it easy and relax as much as you can and i will pray for you and you lil bean.

Glad to see things are looking up. I am hoping your doctor will see you just for an extra piece of mind. Glad your able to distract yourself but do try and take it easy like one poster said no lifting or vacuming, have a lazy day with your family. Take care and keep us all posted!!!
Thank you so much everyone! I feel really weird right now but it is probably the medication. It says that a side effect is WORRYING, no joke. I actually giggled when I saw that because I've never seen that as a side effect on anything before.
I made hubby get the Christmas tree and decorations out because I was bored and thought we should all do something fun tonight. The girlies had a blast and the cat is having even more fun getting into stuff.

THANKS SO MUCH FOR THE UPDATE.....i have been getting on every few hours just to see your update and for some reason i must have been overlooking it (not feeling like myself here lately) im so happy that the bleeding stopped......dont get yourself down no matter what cause this is your time to be a mommy again........i have a feeling that everything will be okay (not much to say for the way i feel though...LOL)

hopefuly they will do an early ultrasound cause at 6 weeks you should see something, even if it is just the gest sac. Hoepfully the bleeding could have been caused by a build up behind the uterus, i forget the specific name for it. Can you ask them to at least do 2 hcg test for you to make sure your levels are going up to make you feel better?

I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO glad that the bleeding stopped and that things are looking better. Be sure to take it easy!!! No heaving lifting..no vacuuming...etc..things like that..thats what my doc told me when I was bleeding!!! TAKE IT EASY are the key words..even though thats hard with little ones. I am glad that DH and your MIL were taking care of you!!!

I'm so glad your bleeding stopped, when my bleeding stopped i had brown discharge for about a week so even though i had an u/s i was sure my baby had passed after the u/s. I think when you've lost a baby and/or tried hard to get pregnant you can't help but think the worse. Take it easy and let your family care for you
