Update

I had my 38 wk check up yesterday and the doctor stripped my membranes.  Let me just tell you that it is horribly painful, and hasn't really helped my contractions.  If i don't have they baby by tuesday then i will be induced.  I have to be at the hospital at 7pm on tuesday and they are going to put a pill in my cervix to help soften it up and then either late tuesday night or early wednesday night they will start a pitocin drip and Isaiah will be here sortly after.  I am hoping he comes on his own before then though.  I have been really sick latley i have a terrible cough and cant keep anything down.  I lost 10lbs in a week, but i think that was mostly the water weight i had gained.  So at the moment i am only up 8lbs from my original weight.  On another note the doctor said that the infection in my legs is gone and now the reason they hurt so bad is b/c the skin is being stretch so much, you can actually see the skin starting to look like its going to rip.

hi girls! my due date was today!!! bummer! no baby yet!!! still just minor contractions, nothin serious to run to the hospital over. girls i can't wait any longer. this is crazy! i'm being induced on wednesday morning. who knows i'm hoping to go on my own beforehand. keep me updated girls!!! oh and the doc is guessing my baby is already 8 lbs. up. talk to you all soon.

I hope all works out for you. I will keep my fingers crossd that you have him on Father's Day. I was a Father's Day baby and my Dad loved it. I am hoping I begin having terrible contractions so that I can also have my little man tomorrow. My DH would be thrilled. He was so bummed that the induction date was the day after Father;s Day. I'm really hoping that my contractions pick up and i can have him by tomarrow that would be sooo cool.  I cant wait till i do thought so that my skin on my legs will stop streching so much and ripping, that is horribly painful, and the pain doesn't go away.  I am getting so excited, anxious, and nervous all once.....i cant wait to have this little man in my arms.  Today is day 3 after the membrane stripping, most people i have talked to said that they had their babies within 3-4 days, so hopefully that holds true fo me too.  I have so many cute little outfits i want to put him in LMAO

Hey there hon will keep my fingers crossed for you that things start to happen and soon!!!
Had my appointment at the hospital on friday with the consultant and they have decided to make me wait another week even tho im now practically bed ridden due to the symphsis pubis disfunction which is agony! They gave me Dihydrocodeine which is a very strong pain killer which has the effect of making me totally pass out so since yesterday when i got home i have barely been awake!
So now im back in on friday this week and they will be deciding when i get to be induced. am so scared as this is a big baby hes tilting the scales at 10 lbs but they still want me to try natural birth rather than the c-section that they were going to let me have!!!!
Anyway Just want to wish all the June moms the best of luck with the next few days and please update and let us know who is next!!!!

Well I know I had each daughter within 24 hours of having mine stripped. BUT stripping the membranes is not a guarantee that you'll go into labor on your own. But you're definitely feeling something happening and hopefully your little man arrives soon!

wow, i've heard a lot of women say it was extremely painful when they had their membranes stripped but when i had mine done with my last pregnancy it was at most really uncomfrortable. I guess everyone is different.  After I had mine stripped I was scheduled for induction 10 days later.  It took 4 days and my son was born. There's still hope.  Mine didn't do much in the first few days but by day 4 i woke up with contractions and a leak in my bag of waters...he was born at 6:54 pm.

Still no baby and still very sick, i have to say i am really tired of throwing up LOL, but i know its only going to be worse during delivery, b/c i throw up the whole time i was having Skylynn.  I thin it would be really cool if the baby was born on fathers day, that would be a great gift to hubby and myself LOL.  But since they stripped my membranes i have less contractions then i did before, which i find odd, but stranger things have have happened.

Wow all of us remaning June Mommys are going to be having our babies with in the next week or so. I am going to be induced on Monday if Julian dosnt come by then... Keep us updated and Best of Luck....

oh, sweetie...  wow!  10lbs in 1 week???  well i guess that's a good head start, huh?!?!?!  i'm glad to hear he is almost here and hopefully soon after you will be able to get your leg fixed, too!  hey, get some things goin in there so we'll deliver both tomorrow!  good luck if i miss you when you go!!! :)

My sister also had hers stripped and when she got home she put a pillow in the washer so that it would go off balance and sat on the washer, needless to say 12 hours later my nephew was born!  She said it kind of hurt but she was at the point of doing anything to get him out. (9 months of 2 shots a day and mego load of pills) So just some food for thought.
