I know you don't. I'm sorry. Best thing you can do is wait for now, though if the pain increases at all go to the ER. I pray that the baby is fine and implanted in your uterus. Good luck.
OMG, that is not what I wanted to hear. I have not had an u/s yet, not thil this Friday. I have been getting dizzy too...but I have always been prone to dizzy spells. I guess I am can only pray and wait until Friday now.
The pain you get also is normally described as sharp and stabbing, and could come and go in frequency and duration.
Have you had an ultrasound yet to confirm where the baby is? It's possible to could be Ectopic. (Though I hope this isn't the case) Often with these the pain will be upper abdominal, and will increase with movement or straining. You could also get pain under your diaphragm, and you might feel it up in your shoulder as well. Do you get dizzy or faint at all? If you've already had an ultrasound and baby is confirmed to be in your uterus you obviously don't have anything to worry about in terms of Ectopic.
No bleeding, and it seems to be centered on the right side. It is like 2-3 inches above my belly button and 3-4 inches to the right. It is so sore and tender to the touch. It is not my appendix though, I had that removed 5 years ago. I don't have any idea what this is. I am trying to wait it out since I have an appointment with the OB on Friday morning.
I've heard about it, but it never seems to be good news. Is it centered on one particular side? How high up does it go? Also, have you had any form of bleeding.
Everything I have read says that round ligament pain is in the lower abdomen. But my pain is in the upper abdomen. It still really hurts and I am starting to get concerned. Has anyone had UPPER abdomen pain?
sounds like round ligament pain, its where your ligaments/muscles relax in prep for pregnancy take it easy when you bend stretch or get up and down from low furniture.
Thanks for responding, I am only about 6 weeks (I think) still need to confirm with the OB on Friday. I may be further than that up to 8 weeks. I have very irregular cycles. The pain hass been there all morning so about 3 hours now.
How far along are you? It sounds like it could be ligament pains from your uterus growing. I get it throughout my whole stomach sometimes; especially in the morning when I stretch or reposition myself.
