What are they?

My mom has those small bumps on the backs of her arms.  But for some reason (without her scratching them) they've become large red sores that won't go away.  She says they don't itch, but sometimes they hurt.  The sores have spread from the back of her arms, to her thighs, to some parts of her face, to other (unmentionable) areas.  The last doctor she asked said he had no clue what they were.  Does anyone know what this is called or how to treat it?  Please respond....

This is a pregnancy forum. You could try to google some dermatology sites and see if they have pictures of what you're trying to describe. Sorry I can't be of more help to you!
