What is Spotting? what does that mean? What is the difference between spotting and having a period?

mine usually last only 3-4 days tops...

I'm usig only one pad a day. It on;y lasted two days. Is that normal? I thought periods are usually lasted up to 5-8 days.

I don't really have a color change it's pretty much same color as AF but I don't have to use a tampon/pad

What the difference between spotting and having a period? Are the color similar?

Spotting is just having blood show up as a spot or two on your underwear or when you whip and having a period is when you have to repeatedly change your tampon/pad.
