When does your temp drop if AF is coming?- Please Help!

I am 12 DPO today (CD 30) I normally have a 28-29 day cycle. I ovulated late in November on CD 20. Does that mean that I should expect AF to be late?

I am not considering myself officially late yet because 3 months ago, AF came on CD 33. However, that was the one and only time I have ever had more than a 30 day cycle.

I took my temp today and it is still very high (98F) my baseline is 97F.

If AF is coming when would I experience a temp drop? If you ovulate late, does that mean you will have a longer cycle?

I am going to try and wait a few more days to test but it's driving me crazy!

if you ovulated on cd18, most likely you're going to have a 32-day cycle this month...because the luteul phase of most women averages 14 days, you can expect to ovulate 14 days before your period. or rather, you can expect your period 14 days after you ovulate. I think your temp would begin decreasing the day before AF is due, but i'm not positive.
