When to start trying again after miscarriage

I had a miscarriage last week.  I was 12 weeks pregnant with twins and there hearts stopped beating.  My gyn doc advised not to try for 6 weeks but my GP said it would be fine to start trying straight away.  Can anyone advise what would be the best.  I really want to start straight away even although another pregnancy wont trplace my babies that died it would helpme focus on something else.

I'm sorry for your loss. Sometimes doctors want you to wait just so that you can get your cycle back on track and the next pregnancy will be easier to date and so on.
You can always try right away if you want, it's totally up to you. Good luck!
