When would I feel the baby move?

I am going to be 15wk3d tomorrow, and I can't wait enough to feel my baby move!!
When should I expect to feel the first movement? This is my first baby and I am short and narrow and slim.
After the m/c last year, I am a bit paranoid, I keep going for a heartbeat and u/s check every 2 weeks just to be sure the baby is fine. I think once I am able to feel movement on a daily basis, I would feel much better!!

phewww.. thanks a lot girls! I am telling myself I will need to wait patiently for at least 3 more weeks! I do have a regular appt scheduled with my doctor on this saturday, and he usually checks the heartbeat with a doppler. That itself is a huge relief, but I calm down only for like 3 days and then am back to worrying! :)

This is my first and I started feeling movement at 17 weeks (almost on the dot)! It's still light and have only felt one kick so far, but I get the popcorn/butterfly feelings several times per day. Some days I feel it more than others, but at least 1-2 times per day. The movements are so light that DH is still far from feeling them.

But I understand your fustration....it will be here soon! And then you will want baby to settle down so you can sleep! My sister is 5 weeks ahead of me and has started texting me everynight saying "tell ur baby to tell my baby to settle down and go to sleep!" LOL!

i felt the first movements at 16 weeks but i didn't recognize them as baby until 17 weeks (its easy to mix them up with gas bubbles).. im not short (im about average) but i am slim too. it all depends on where baby implants, your placenta, how much padding you've got on your tummy, etc..

I started to feel flutters at 15 weeks but that came n went could go a week or so with nothing then felt movements about 18 weeks I'm 22 weeks now n I can feel it kicking n it's not that strong but it gives me
Some good ones now n again, it can happen at any time tho my friend recently had twins n didn't feel her kicks until 25 weeks n that was with 2! So I wouldn't worry if you don't feel anything until late on bout 18-20 weeks :)

With my first pregnancy it was about 20 weeks when I was able to feel any movement, but whith this pregnancy I have already felt movement... It feels like popcorn popping... I do know that if your placenta (like mine) is in the front it may take longer to feel anything because the placenta is taking the brunt of the movement!!! Fingers crossed you will feel it soon!!
