How would you know if you have it?? What are treatments? Can this effect the baby?

Tums help and you can get a prescription for it. I take ranitidine works like a charm for the most part. But mine was so bad i would puke in my sleep and choke on it.

Sounds like it to me hun, I'm not sure what they'd give you for it, they might just give you gaviscon, I'd say try it, it's safe during pregnancy because i needed it myself for indigestion. Just ask the pharmacy to double check or go get a prescription (: good luck x

Thanks... yeah I think I may have it... idk much about it but here's my symptoms see if it sounds like it....  

Dry burning sensation
Hard to breathe
Always feel like I'm throwing up in my mouth w/out actually throwing up... I think its just acid...
Get a sharp pain in my chest

Reflux oh wow :l been there done that. My little girl had it, started noticing when she was 9 days old, she'd have her arms out legs out, and would start shaking and staring into space, while she chocked cause she couldn't get the milk up. Sooo scary when you don't know.. id grab her turn her over and hit her back until she was sick, and then she'd get emotional cause obviously it scared her too D: after the second time she did that (she'd do it after every feed) we took her to the hospital and in the end we had to put infant gaviscon in every bottle, but it worked a treat! (: and never bothered her after that! Was absolutely brilliant stuff (: hope this helps x

I don't think it will effect the baby, it just burns and ***** loll I usually get it from drinking juice.. I don't no of any treatments tho
