Levels should double every 24-72 hours in early pregnancy however I have heard of people who have gone on to have healthy full term pregnancies even when their levels didn't double in the time frame. As for the bleeding I bled at the beginning of my pregnancy for 5 weeks worse than a period and my little girl is sleeping right next to me. So don't lose hope things could turn out okay. What you might want to do is request an ultrasound at about 7-9 weeks to make sure everything is developing as it should.
Have you gotten an ultrasound yet?
its a mixture of both really.
How heavy is the bleeding and what color is it? If it's brownish - it's old blood and you should be fine. If it's red - that's new blood and could be a bad sign.
i first had them done on last monday n it was 50 something then on wednesday it went up to 70 something, got to go back on monday for more blood tests.
Have your levels been doubling every 2 days?
