am i pregnant?

I am 21 days late for my period my next period is due the 20th I have been feelin very tired since about aweek before the missed period and urinating lots I was bleeding v.lighlty 10days before period.  Mt periods are usually really heavy so I am sure it was not my period.  my boobs are sore (around the nipples) headaches, spots which is not usual me (even when I am on my period).  Any suggestions? x

HPT are not always accurate. I took a pregnancy test Sept 28th and it came back negative. Than I took one October 29th and it was positive. Come to find out I had conceived Sept 5th so a positive result should have been seen when I took the test in Sept and it didn't. So I hardly trust the HPT's anymore. Definitely get some blood work, your HCG levels are the magic numbers that will tell you. And at this point it will definitely be accurate! Good Luck!

You sound pregnant to me,i would definately contact your doctor for a blood test,good luck.it may not show positive yet as you may have ovulated later in your cycle.

I am always on time and without fail would usually come on my period on the Thursday at 12noon!  That why come 2 days after I was curious to know why I wasnt on.  I actually saw my GP on the Monday, and he seemed to think I was not pregnant - as the days/weeks have gone on I am noticing more things such as, you know when you have butterflies it feels like that and slight cramping - just uncomfortable.  I am never tired and dont suffer from headaches, so if I did a test tomrorow morning it would be accurate?

If you are three weeks late then yes. Are you normally right on schedule or are you irregular? I would call your doctor and set up a time to come in and do a blood test. That is the only way to know for sure. The best time to test at home is with first morning urine! Keep me posted

Yeah I did a test the day after the period was due - negative.
I didnt really know the best time to test now as we have had sex since - unprotected so was thinking of waiting unitl my period (due on 20th) to see if I my period in fact comes or now.  What do you think? And if I was pregnant woudl a hpt show positive at this stage? x

Yoou could very well be pregnant. Those are signs of pregnancy. Have you taken a test yet?

i would take a pregnancy test. Sounds very likely that you are pregnant or possibly have a hormone imbalance. More likely pregnant.
