another ectopic in the right side

Well ladies it looks like it happend again in the right side where. I had my tube removed just 6 months ago. The right tube managed to grow scar tissue and open the tube and got atached to the right overy. How it happen I have no clue. I really think that the dr in sep didn't suture the tube correctly. But who knows I have my faith and I know there has to be a purpose regardless of the pain I have endured.

Do you think its possibles in a 5 month period for the tube to grow back and open and andheise to the overy?

WOW that is so awesome congrats on your BFP.. recently the last 2 months I have been taking evening primrose cd1-O and than flaxseed from O-Af and that has seem to make my cycles shorter but still waiting on the bfp. Its so glad to hear the vitex is working. Where did you get all you products from? I am always iffy on where to get that stuff. Can I buy it at the local store? Well you will have to keep me posted

I have had 2 ectopic pregnancies on the left side, last one being Feb 2011. My husband and I were TTC for almost 2 years.  I started taking Vitex in pill form, Red Rasberry and FertiliTea religiously from July 5th till August 18th.  I took a pregnancy test August 19th and was so happy that it was positive!  I visited my doctor today and I was told so far it looks good, I took a blood test and will go back on Friday for the results, in which I will be returning next week for another blood test.

All I can say is stay positive because you still have at least one tube.  The vitex regulates your cycle to 28days and from there you can start using the ovulation test strips.

Good Luck

I wish I could get immediate care. But I dont have health car coverage right way its to expensive ($400 month on husbands) and personal insurance there are waiting list or high premium, so I have to wait til I become pregannt, try to get verification and than apply insurance but even than it doesnt kickin til a month later. right now I am having that problem again. I tried for insurance right away they approved me last week on the 4th but nothing is covered til the 14th, well I already lost the baby with no health coverage, the only thing I can do is go to the clinic and use what they have, after sitting in the clinic for 2-8 hours and hopefully they have an OB on staff.(been there done that and they turned me away bcuz they didnt have an ob on staff) The plan parent hood places only give HPT and vericfication and there was a pregnancy center in my home town that does ultra sound but they dont seem to be as efficiant. so really from the time you find out that you are pregant til the time you actually get coverage (which can be 10-12 week) its to late. I am so tired of this government.....I am trying to do everything I can do in my own power. Me and DH are so going to start an advocacy

Are you having an HSG test done between ectopic pregnancies and surgeries? If not, i would suggest doing so. It will show if your tube(s) are open, where fluid can flow, and can have theraputic effects. I had an ectopic pregnancy last year, had the HSG test done, and am now 31 weeks pregnant. There is hope that this can happen for you too. Just be sure that you are getting the best care from a good doctor.

I did have a previous ectopic in the right side last sep. I was under the impression that there was way I was going to be able to concieve off the right and the right was totally cut off and the left one was the only one left. the first ectopic they cut bikini line and this one he had to go vertical because of the severity of the bleeding that I was having internally. Do now this doc took what was left on the right side and the ovary so now there is no chance of the right having any more problems. I really hate the fact that each doc has different information and cant get a tart answer from anyone and by the time you do its to late. This is some serious stuff and the only people who seem to care about it, is us.

Hi,
When you said you think the last doc didnt finish the job what did u mean have u had a previous ectopic in that tube??
I had an ectopic in 2006, By the time id been passed from doc to doc and i eventually got a doc to listen to my problem i was reffered to a&e i went in about 3am and by 9 i was having a scan unfortunatly my right tube had ruptured, before i went in for the op i saw the consultant and she asked me if she could save any of the tube would i like her to?? I asked if i could still conceive off the remaining tube and she said yes so i said well save what you can she has left me with 1/4 of a right tube, Now in 2009( xmas eve )i had another ectopic this time it was on the left side and they said because the previous doc has left 1/4 tube that it put my left tube at risk because of scar tissue, Luckily i think my left tube is now open ( i had a m/c in Nov )and the sac was on the left side showing it came from the left tube but the point to my long story is that if there is any remaining tube it increases your chances of another ectopic pregnancy.
How are they treating this ectopic pregnancy?the 1st i had surgery where i was cut hip to hip the second i had 2 shots of methotrexate.

I totally know how you feel its very very frushtrating, If you need a chat please feel free to drop me a msg...again big hugs to you.

Thank You ladies. I really have no clue hoe it all happens like this. I really think the last doctor didnt finish the job and that what cause the problem. I will be looking into it, something sounds fishy. But the good news is I still have the whole left side, the dr said there a  little scar tissue from the csection but I should have any more problems. My right tube and the ovary are for surely out but a lot of preparation way before hand. So time will tell

I'm so sorry you have to go through this again!  I have had three ectopics on the left side so I know how frustrated you must feel.  I haven't had to lose my tube thankfully but I had no idea tubes could grow back - I thought once they were removed then that's it.  Sounds like your body is very determined to have another baby!  I hope they have done it properly this time so you won't have to endure any more ectopics xx
