another preg question...now bleeding

I can't get into the doctor until next week.  I have not had a pd. since Aug 14th.  I have never missed a period except for my two children.  Well my next pd was due Sept 17th as I posted before.  Well, last night I got this sick pain feeling in my stomach.  I would spot bleed when I would go to the bathroom.  I went again and same thing.  Today I have bright red bleeding.  Not your everyday period bleeding, like bright red.  I was going to take a  home preg test this weekend, but now I'm bleeding.  I don't know what is going on with me....I had the sore nipples, nausea and cramping like I was going to start for 2 weeks.  I am going crazy!!!! Was this a miscarriage, could I be pregnant, or did this period finally get here since August.  This is so unusual...Never had this problem before ever....I  have been with my husband for 10+ years and never gone through missing my period this long and not be pregnant.......I can't wait to see the doctor...

Hi.  Your post sounds similar to mine.  I read a lot about women having periods during pregnancy, but wondered if they bleed heavy like a regular period.  I totally believed I was pregnant & my period was supposed to come on 9/27 (they're always right on schedule), but it didn't start till the next day... but that was just a light, brown discharge for 3 days & then I got what seemed to be a regular, heavy period 10/1-10/5.  It still seemed different to me than my usual periods, but it was not light spotting.  I feel like I could be pregnant, but I'm waiting to see 'cause my hpts came back negative.  I've read that some people never get positive hpts and some people bleed during pregnancies, so it is confusing.  I even used opks during the week that I was supposed to ovulate, thinking if they are negative maybe I AM pregnant... I never got a positive, but then read that some people never get positives !  UGH !  My next AF is in two weeks, so time will tell...  Keep me posted as to what you find out & good luck to you !  :)

If you are bleeding heavily it would most likely be from a period or miscarriage but some people do have their period the whole time they are pregnant...my grandmother did.  Let us know if you go get a test done

i'm sorry you are confused.  I know how big of a pain not knowing can be.  I say get a blood test.  Urine test are too much work..a qunatative blood test should give you an acurate answer

At first it was like spotting when I would wipe.  Now it is like a heavy period.  I haven't had one since August though.  My nipples are still sore at times.  I don't know what is going on????? The tests came out negative before this started.  I had every symptom of pregnancy....  I have never had a late period except for being pregnant.  I wonder if it is a miscarriage or I'm pregnant and heavy pd.  I don't know.....have you every heard of this before????  I was 29 days late....my period is 35 days apart.  I was supposed to start in September (17th) but didn't.

take a test to find out.  was it clots of blood or just blood?  I know woman can still have a normal period and be preg.  I would either see a doctor or take an hpt.  G'luck to you
