I am a ftm and I have really bad spd I'm on crutches for the last of my pregnancy my partner has to help me walk up the stairs and lift my leg for me. I did get sent to physio and its all about your posture because you're spine should be an s shape so she said, try sitting straight on a chair with a little hand towel in the curve of your back and when you get up shuffle to the end of the seat then get up as if you have a tail. They say hot on your back cold on your front helps I'm yet to discover this.  going up stairs if you have a good leg use that to go upstairs and bad for coming down. Don't sit on the floor with your knees crossed as you are straining youre Pelivs and don't slouch either try to keep your back in that s shape I hope this helps.

I know there's no cure but they say a chiropractor will help relieve some pain. And actually this never happened with my first pregnancy, it started with my second so this is very new to me.

I do. But there's really no cure for it, I've asked my doctor, nurses, other mothers. Unfortunately it's just a natural thing that happens especially with first time moms. Some things that have helped were warm baths, sleeping with pillows between your legs, seems to hurt me the most at night when rolling over or getting out of bed. So someone told me to keep my knees together when rolling over or getting out of bed. It's just your pelvis loosing, stretching, moving around.  I had a mom send this to me, hopefully I helped a bit.
