anyone else?

since i have been pregnant my skin has been horrible!! i have never had bad skin, and i know its just the hormones but it is sooooo frusturating!!!!! luckily they arent big monsters, but there are little tiny ones all over my forehead and down the sides of my face. im almost thinking my skin could be a little sensitive to some of my hair products, as i have bangs and i dont tuck my hair behind my ears so its always hanging on my face...this is one pregnancy "joy" i could do without! :)

When I got Pregnant right away my forehead broke out like CRAZY! And I have really nice skin, never had a pimple problem. It was like little bitty pimples all over my forehead. And it was just there and on my chest! Weird I know...
The magic that worked for me...Mary Kay's Acne Treatment Gel. You just put it on your pimples after you wash up and within a couple weeks my acne was pretty much gone!
I also recommend Neutrogena oil free fash wash..and always make sure you're putting some kind of creme on after you wash your face...can get really dry. But the Mary Kay Gel worked like a charm!
I also wear my bangs to the side..and at one point I was thinking of cutting real bangs just to cover the acne up! LOL
Good Luck!

I read somewhere that Proactiv wasn't proven safe during pregnancy, but don't quote me... I am having similar issues. I am 9 weeks along and have broken out mostly on my forehead and chin. I have finally come up w/a regimen that works for me: Neutrogena Extra Gentle face wash (don't use anything w/soap in it) and Neutrogena moisturizer all over. My skin is really oily, but moisturizing actually helps smooth things out and prevent zits. You'd think it would make you break out, but it doesn't! Be sure not to over-wash; dryness causes breakouts because the skin goes into over-drive producing oil, therefore clogging pores & causing breakouts. I would highly suggest you pull your bangs back or sweep them to the side, or at least do it at night while you sleep. I used to have bangs and I was constantly broken out on my forehead (due to oil and product in hair)... Best wishes to you!!

I feel ya girl. I've always broke out and I just started clearing up when I got pregnant ( I found out the caffeine I was drinking was a big problem). Since I've been about 6wks holy c r a p! I get the deep painful zits that take forever to go away and you can't pop. Then I'm left with a red spot for weeks. It sucks. I'll be glad when I'm in my 2nd trimester and hopefully this will ease up some. I use clean and clear oil-free pore scrubbing face wash and cetaphil oil-free moisturizer with spf 15. I also use an alcohol free toner. The doctor told me not to use anything with benzoyl peroxide in it and so I use a clindimycin liquid toner on my face to help kill the acne. It doesn't work as well as the BP does. I want to know where the glowing skin of pregnancy is!

I've been having problems with dry skin around my nose and at the cheek bone. But the rest of my skin looks really great....I think it's all the water I'm drinking.

I've gotten that way with this one.  I remember with my last two my face broke out just a little bit..nothing major.  But this time it's BAD..I've got big red ones and little tiny ones and blackheads and dry, flakey skin.  I have some of that proactive stuff that was my husbands but I havent' tried it.  I've been cleaning my face with seabreeze tho and trying (when I remembe) to put St. Ive's collagen hydrating cream on morning and night.  Right now my face just look like ****.

I've also got itchy bumps on my stomach and back.  They aren't really pimples...and they aren't bug bites.  I remember getting a few with one of my other pregnancies.  I have NO IDEA what they are...but they itch and look ugly.
