appt with obgyn after recurrent m/c's

So, I hope this is read in time but I finally have an appointment with an OB to look into why I've had 4 m/c's in 11 months. I know I should be posting in the M/C forum (which I did) but this one has more traffic and I'm trying to think of questions to ask but there's sooo much emotion building up inside I'm drawing a blank! And, my appt is tomorrow as I said before

If anyone has been through this, or has a similar experience, all advice would be greatly apprecited

Thank you :)

I truely don't believe its a genetic issue because we have a healthy 2 year old son. But thank you for the reply :)

I would research on what tests should be run and make sure the dr does them, gene testing, viruses, immunities, everything. Tell them you will make their life h e l l till you get answers ;). Wishing you all the best!!

I've had recurrent miscarriages. I had 2 then got my son and after that it took 4years of miscarriages before the problem was found. I had no problem getting pregnant but couldn't ever make it past the 5th week. I kept getting told it was a fluke and it happens. May of 2010 I saw a maternal fetal specialist who drew a lot of blood work. Come to find out it was a simple fix. I have factor v leiden and have to be on blood thinners to stay pregnant. I am currently 38weeks with my second son. I truely hope you find out sooner then I did. If one doctor says its a fluke then find another doctor and continue til the problem is found. I strongly suggest a maternal fetal specialist if there is one in your area. You will probably be tested for a ton of things so get ready to have a lot of blood drawn. Also wouldn't hurt to get your significant other tested as well, just to make sure its not a genetic problem. I wish you tons of luck and if you have any questions or concerns just message me. I know it can be a very frustrating process.
