birth control?
Due Oct first anyone considering bc after delivery??with my insurance I have to be 24 or have four kids to get my tubes tied. I'm 21 with two boys n my first daughter on the way. I was on the pill with my second son and with this pregnancy. Idk what to do...any good advice..
Yeah. All these side effects scare me. And I don't want another kid right now. After my girl is born I want to wait several years but for right now I've been prego 2010-2011, 2011-2012, & 2013. I think we will use condoms. I lost my mucous plug a few days ago n doc said its ok it will just quicken the time when my cervix decides to open up. Do any of u ladies think its a problem becuz of that if I let my guy finish inside of me?
I was going to get depo shot but 3 lactation counselors said it can hurt milk supply for breast feeding, so I'm just not having sex for 2/3 months then ill prob get on the pill and condoms
Lol well I used this foam stuff when I got off the pill. It's the spermicide you insert in your vagina. Not very fun, but I never got pregnant with it. We also used condoms which kinda ***** when you're married. I guess that's what I plan on doing after this baby is born because someone told me birth control can make your milk run dry and I want to breast feed.
Had paragard iud... Got pregnant after a year with it in place. 32+6 days pregnant with 3rd baby!
Im going to be getting the paragaurd iud. I had it after i had my first daughter who is now 3 and after i have my 2nd baby girl in Oct i will be getting it again. I loved it and its completely hormone free so i will be able to breastfeed. It lasts up to 10 years too, but if we decide to have another, i can always get it removed sooner like i did this last time. :)
I was on the pill and got preg with my second son and I got on it again after I had him and ended up preg again..
I think I'm going to go back on the pill. I'm 24 and haven't used it since about 18 because I didn't like the weight I had gained with it . But at this point I could care less about that lol. I want to enjoy my son before I have another oopsie.
I am pregnant with my first, and it only took two months to conceive. I wanna breastfeed, but I'm definitely considering birth control once I'm done breastfeeding because it didn't take much time to get pregnant.
Been on depo. Made my period stop after awhile but the doctor says it is normal. Only problem is u could gain alittle weight but if u eat right that wont happen. The patch is ok and works well but if u r on it the same as depo watch what u eat. Unfortunately with the patch if ur body mass goes over 30 and u r over weight it loses effect and u get pregnant. Thats how this baby of mine got here. That thing in ur arm( idk what it is called) works good if u want to space ur babies or just want a long term bc. Ask ur doc which will b best for u
I going back to nuva ring it work before my first baby it work between the babys and after this one i dont want any so im sure it work after and if one day i will want one more i will stop take it and know 3 mouths after cleaning the sistem will come , good luck finding the best BC for u
I tried depo but did not like it at all. Went fine for month then just bled non stop for a couple months. I was debating on tubes tied but I talked to my dr. About it and wether it is reversable. She said no. It can be but the success rate is very low. And it's a 10,000 procedure that dosnt always work. She recommended the iud said that's what she uses. So I'm gonna look into it. So as of right now I am still undecided
I had a horrible experience with the merina IUD so I won't get it again but I'm going to try the paraguard this time around only BC If I get on the pill I know I will end up pregnant again BC I would never remember to take it and I won't be able to afford the shot every 3 months and the implant scares the crap out of me! I'm only 18 but this is my second baby and the law in Louisiana is 3 kids or 21 to have your tubes tied.
I got the paragaurd IUD after my daughter was born and have had no side effects at all. Really the only unfavourable thing it can cause is heavier periods bit I'm breastfeeding and I haven't gotten my period yet. I really think the paragaurd was the safe a and bast choice.
I told my guy we have to stop making love until we get married. Wouldn't work!!! It's the most accurate way. I think ill rack up on condoms and the morning after pill. Idk what that is exactly but I've heard about it ....that or the other protections they have on the shelves at the store...
Stay awsy from the iud. I'm seven weeks and two days got pregnant with it in place. They appearently haveca High failure rate
Omg. I feel the sake way what if when my kids all go to school later I want a baby. But then again I think about college that's going to be expensive for three kids as it is! The pill didn't work for me and I breast fed my boys but I ran out of milk both times and had to go to formula:( anyways.. I'm scared to do the mirana or the copper t BCUZ they have too many COMMON side effacts. My friend had her mirana flip inside of her n had to to get it removed n they told her now she will not be able to have kids. But then they have these emplants for Ur arms for like 3 years and 5 years. And 10 years but something like that is so un natural is be scared it would cause me problems or infertility. And the depo scares me BCUZ I gain weight easy and don't need anything extra to assist in my weight gain lol but I know a ton of ppl who said they bleed a lot with it and it can last for weeks:( I hate a monthly period I don't want to be being for weeks at a time. I'm so confused.
Get a stronger bc. Or someone needs to get snipped. I'm either not having sex or using bc but I plan to breast feed
Im 22. Expecting second baby. I dont know what ill do. Husband and i agree not to have any more. He wants me to get my tubes tied but im kind of scared because i just cant guarantee i wont want another in ten years andits so invasive. I asked him to get vasectomy but i dont think he wants to. I guess ill do pills until im sure.. Big dilemma for me too. I feel you. Sorry i didnt give any advice.. :)
