bleeding

So lastnight I tarted having some little cramps but they were not very painful and I was also very gassy and constipated so i'm not sure if that is the reason i was cramping or if it was something to do with the baby.  Then this morning after having sex when I went to the bathroom and wiped there is a very light pink showing up on the toliet paper.  It isn't much, just sorta absorbs into the paper and it isn't red or anything.  I know that it is normal to spot durning pregnancy after having sex but it still doesn't make me feel any better.  Is this what spotting from sex should look like?  Is pink a bad sign?  We are going to go to church and if it gets heavier or I start cramping again I am going to go to the er

Not regarding this, but I saw her posting on a journal discussion earlier today.

The cervix is more sensative than usual during pregnancy and all of your organs [including the vagina, and cervix] have increased blood flow. Pink spotting is usually okay unless it gets heavier.. I'm assuming she's doing okay. but no update ?

Yeah just take it easy with the sex till your second trimester cuz anything can happen during the first.

I went to the ER the other day for spotting. Turns out that it was mycervix bleeding, which can be normal because it is engorged with blood.  However, cervical bleeding is not something the jeopardizes the baby, because my cervix is closed. Even so, we were told no more sex until trimester #2.  I hope that helps, I bet it is just your cervix reacting to being touched

Yeah I think momnpain is right.  With you having sex  too maybe your cervix is really low and he could have been hitting it?  I am not sure. But I am thinking that she nailed it and it that could be what its from!  I hope everything else is wonderful!  :)

Pink doesn't necessarily mean anything bad. Just as you said, spotting is normal after sex in pregnancy. Cramps are normal, too. I cramped until I was about 24 weeks - sometimes from gas and not being able to go potty and sometimes from my uterus stretching. I think you're okay - but to be on the safe side, if it happens again, go to the ER. How far along are you now, anyway? GL...
