How long is breast milk good for in the refrigerator?? Someone please tell me

Breast milk storage...
4-6 hours in a warm room (79°f)
10 hours in a cool room (66-72°)
24 hours in an insulated cooler with ice pack
5 days in the refrigerator (32-39°f)
2 weeks in the freezer section of a one door r efridgerator
3 months in the freezer section of a two door refrigerator
6-12 months in a 0°f deep freeze

My home visiting RN gave me the information today because I plan on breastfeeding. . Hope this helps

Maybe thats where I got the 24 hours because I always thawed mine lol

O n after u take it out the freezer u let it thaw n the fridge n its only good 24hrs after that but i wud use it asap

I thought it was only 24 hours and I was about to go throw away 20+ oz of milk because I thought it wasn't any good now. Glad I don't have to throw it away (:

Hm interesting to know I guess I couldve saved more milk insead of dumping but I froze a lot of mine. Good to know.

I was told at the hospital with both of my sons it's good for 1 week in the refrigerator
