Well cramps and or bleeding/spotting isn't a good sign...I would see your doctor ASAP. However when pregnant you do get cramps due to your uterus expanding etc..but I really think you should get looked at just incase, better safe than sorry ya know?

I noticed spotting with heavy cramps in my first trimester.  It was dark brown then turned into dark red blood  with clots.  The doctor told me to come straight in...and it ended up I had a miscarriage.  I'm not trying to scare you...I've had friends that had their pregnant the whole time durnoing pregancy.  Sometimes it's very normal. but, it is also something to be very serious about.  Good luck!

I noticed spotting in my first trimester...it was dark brown and it was pretty much every day for a week or so. I called my doctor who insisted it was normal. A couple days later it turned to bright red and a couple days after that I miscarried. I'm not trying to scare you..many women spot during their pregnancies and it's completely fine, I would just recommend seeing your doctor just to be safe. Some women have their periods while pregnant as well...best bet is to see a doctor. Good Luck!
