coffee

Im almost 23 weeks pregnant and am hitting my breaking point. I used to smoke and drink maybe 5-6 large cups of coffee a day. I found out i was pregnant, stopped smoking and drinking so much coffee that day. Now all i want  is those large like 42oz ice coffees from quick chek. The small ones just dont do anything for my crazy cravings.. what can i do? Is one super large coffee going to hurt my baby?

My mIdwife said caffeine is fine , not ideal obviously in large amounts but I am still fine to have one cafe style coffee daily or two instant ones everyday without causing an issue, we are not super human we are going to crave things especially giving up everything at once , give yourself a break and go get a big fat coffee !

I'm 36+2... I crave coffee now I have like 2 small cups every other day... I told my doctor she laughed and told me to drink decafe and no.soda since that has caffeine to... Which is no problem I don't drink soda at all anyway

You don't have to completely eliminate it, just drink it in moderation. One every day or every other day wouldn't hurt.

Don't drink it all at once...and don't have anything else caffeine for the day. Maybe a one a week. Moderate it. Find some coffee candy's that you can suck on for a while

I had a frappe today...not a big coffee drinker but I was craving one really bad...I got a medium but only ended up drinking half because I felt so guilty...I would just get a small and try to find other ways to cure the cravings.....the extra large is a lot.....just to be safe

Caffeine is unhealthy for our bodies, let alone an unborn fetus. I doubt one would do it, but it can be easy to get in the mind that one more wont hurt and you do it more frequently. If you do get it, I'd just avoid coffee for a little bit after. You're supposed to have no more than 2-300 mg a day, max.
