Hi, I has a mc on the 10th August 2007, and have just found out I am 5weeks pregnant again, I was on this site for information about cramping as I dont remember it with my first pregnancy but am feeling it with this one. (hopefully it is a good sign), so I am going to take the advice from the others and say that it is normal. may I wish you the best of luck and Take Care xxxx
I have had two children and with both..i had cramping all the way through...actually got worse as my pregnancy progress as your uterus is growing more and more each day...try not to stress..it will be ok :)
I'm between 6 & 7 weeks myself, and I'm actually experiencing mild cramping as I write. Not to worry. The others that have repsonded are correct when stating that it's a normal sensation as your uterus stretches & grows. As long as there's no bleeding, don't stress out. I had a miscarriage 4 months ago, and I was just able to see my new little one a few days ago on screen with a little heart flutter, which made my own heart flutter. It's hard to advise against stressing yourself out, especially since I ignored that same advise myself. But now all is well with this pregnancy, and I'm sure that will be the case for you as well. Good luck & congrats!
Thanks ladies. It is just so hard not to worry!!
I had cramps for a few weeks in very early pregnancy. They have subsided now that I am 17 weeks. I still get a pulling/stretching sensation every now and then. But yes, cramps are normal as long as they aren't severe or accompanied by bleeding!
Two years ago, I miscarried by first baby at 6 weeks and now I am 5 weeks 3 days pregnant and am worried as hell. But it is true, cramping can just mean that the uterus is stretching to make way for the baby. I feel the same way, I don't know what I would do if I m/c again. I do wish you the best with this pregnancy! Take care!!
I had a miscarriage earlier this year I completely know about worrying about everything. However cramps are normal in early pregnancy its just your uterus stretching. However if they get really bad you may want to call your doctor. Best of luck to you and congrats on your BFP!
