cramps!!

Im 5 weeks pregnant (only found out last week) and im having terrible cramps all the time!! Feels like period pains....

Is this normal??
Are there any alternative pain killers that work as i dont want to take chemicals!!

Its just your uterus stretching, I had the same thing, I thought I was starting my period until it never came and I'm now 38 weeks pregnant! You can take Tylenol but I would suggest not taking anything unless you absolutely need it, especially in your first trimester when your baby is so fragile. Good luck and congrats!

I had period pains every day up until 7 weeks and then they just stopped. Its totally normal unless you are bleeding, then you should go to the doc. I used to worry too but it really is common and normal. Sometimes they were quite strong period pains that would wake me in the night but mostly throughout the day they were a constant dull pain like I was always abt to get my period. Congrats :)
