I got the depo in November of last year n its taking me almost a year to get pregnant, why is it taking so long to get pregnant

I got pregnant three months after depo,  that was after months on my period at a time. Depo was horrible for me

I been taking vitamins and eating right and finally had a period last month hoping the depo is out of my system so that I can conceive. I gained 40 pounds to. Hopefully by next month I will know something since I already had a period

I gained 40 pounds with the depo & got pregnant with my 2nd a year later also. & my periods & hormones were so outta whack!!

Yes I agree never again will I get the depo. I gained so much weight with the depo. I was suppose to go back in January but I'm glad I didn't cause my husband wants a baby n I haven't got pregnant.

It was rough but everything happens for a reason. The long wait and ups and does are SO worth it once you conceive (: just keep your head up! (:

I took depo as well only 1 shot like I didnt even come back in 3 months like ur supposed to and it took me almost a year after taking it just for my period to come back.. plus It packed on a few pounds for me.. never again! They say it can take a year for things to go back to regular and that considered normal... there are always exceptions that take longer that stuff is very powerful and everyone body will take it differently u kind of just have to let it all leave ur system

Oh my goodness I'm so sorry to hear that. This one lady told to never get the depo again cause it mess you up so bad. I haven't had a period and finally just had one last month. I'm so fertile n is a shock to me that I haven't gotten pregnant I already have 2 boys

It took me a year also. And I had a miscarriage with my first :/ my cousin was also on depo and it took her three years and for miscarriages. Not sure if the are directly related but just keep trying!!!
