exam or plug
I'm 37 weeks and 4 days pregnant with my first baby a little girl Well my midwife did an exam on me yesterday I was 2cm dilated when she pulled her fingers out she told me not to freak out but her fingers had bright red blood on it and mucus a lot of blood and she told me spotting and bleeding is normal after but she gave me a pad an from 4pm.- 4:30pm I had brown blood on pad bout a teaspoon full and light pink colored very sticky discharge and had that all night long and I'm still seeing little strings of blood in discharge did my midwife pull my plug? She said she didn't see me going pass my due date

Its very possible! After my cervical check at l&d 2 weeks ago i lost my plug! But it regenerated because just yesterday i had the same kind of mucus come out (without a cervical exam sex or anything)

So its possible she dislodged part of it, it could grow back though!

Sounds like mucus plug came out. Nothing to be alarmed about especially if it stopped bleeding
