In the beginning we also hold a lot of water weight and bloating. Drinking a lot of water can help us flush out some of the extra water weight. If you are eating healthy and getting at least some light exercise in like walking, that's all you can really do. You may find your weight gain slows down a little bit in a couple weeks.
Every prego woman is beautiful. Some woman carry more weight than others. I'm a small girl and gaining weight is hard. Especially if ppl point it out. But its just important to be healthy. And while keeping a healthy weight is important. While Ur pregnant isn't the best time to worry about Ur weight either. We can't go on diets. Lol. If Ur still eating healthy and exercising and gaining weight then its prolly just the way Ur body was meant to do things. Just like my body does it. Lol
Thank you girls for repling it.feels so good to know im nit alone. I always just see the cuttest prego girls and get so depressed that I cant look as cute and as good as them.while pregnant :(
I gained 80 with my first two as well. And I weighed about the same. Just over a 100 pounds at over 5'8" 1/2. The Dr said I needed all that weight cause I was so under weight. Like 30-40 pounds under weight. He was never worried about my gain. In fact was glad I was able to gain as I can't when Im not prego. Too fast of a metabolism. I'm 9 weeks and I've gained almost 10. And all I eat and can stomach is fruits veggies and my prenatals with my 5mg of folic acid. Gotta have extra in case I have trouble absorbing nutrients. Sometimes Ur body just knows what it needs to do to get healthy and prepare Ur body. With each pregnancy I lost all the weight and ended up a few pounds lighter than when I got pregnant.
I gained 80 with my first 60 with my second 40 with my third. All of them I dropped back down to my prepregnancy weight quickly.(I just felt like I was starving with the first two lol) My ob never complained about my weight gain. Just try to eat 6 small meals a day with fresh fruits and veggies and make sure you have protein with each meal and it should help keep your weight down. Try to do some walking at least 3x a week for 20 minutes. Good luck.
Excercise in moderation! Walk, swim, do yoga. That will help and continue to eat good foods for you. Make sure you're eating enough calories though as well. Because if you're not eating enough you will also gain weight because of the lack of calories.
