hcg levels during preg.

Ok so when I first had a hcg test done it was on day 35. Which normally my period starts about day 35 or 36.  The hcg level was 41 (that was a thursday). The nurse said it was low but I was preg and they would repeat it on the next monday. well Monday it came back at 142 and she said that was good. They checked ot again on the wednesday after that and it was 271. She sadi that was great and we made a appt for the first ultrasound which she sais should be around 6 weeks.  Well we went in for the ultrasound and the doc said according to my lmp I should be between 6 and 8 weeks. Well he saw a sac but it was blurry. Hcg levels were 18000. So we rechecked my hcg levels and scheduled another u/s for the next monday which was 1/12.  We went back for the u/s and the sac was alot more clearer and you could see the fetal pole. But he said you should be able to see the heartbeat so he is pretty certain that I am miscarrying. HCG levels came back at 20677. And he said that it didn't really go up that much much. But the hubby and I wanted to wait another week before we decided to do anything and have another u/s done. I am worried because the doc and the nurses are telling me that it will be ok and 15% of preg. end in miscarriage. I have a feeling that nothing is wrong because he is basing everything off of a normal person who has a 28 day cycle. and hello mine is not. Its like 1-1 1/2 weeks longer then everyone elses. Idk what to do. Anyone had a thing like thishappen?

Thanks alot for the prayers. I actually seem very calm and not that worried. The only that gets me is the doc isn't listening to me about my cycles.

Just wait - if you are going to m/c it will happen - at least you can find peace knowing that you waited.... you never know what could happen - I have heard stories that things like this turn out positive.. Good Luck

I am sorry for the stress you are going through. The only thing I can say is to follow your heart. Don't let them push you into anything and wait for another ultrasound. Dates can be off and since you have a longer cycle you might have ovulated later than expected. I'll be praying everything goes well for you and your little one.
