ok so u all know now that i had bleeding on monday and still have a bit of brown blood when i wipe after the loo but none is in my undies etc so its only a tiny bit

i want to know if orgasams can cause or have a higher chance of having a miscarrige?

i know intercourse could create problems, but i dont no about other things

im trying to do everything to avoid complications

i hadnt had sex or anything in 2wks, until last night my partner and i were fooling round abit and now im paranoid that it could cause problems

so can orgasams cause any damage??

I had a little brown discharge  after sex once.  The dc said it was normal that he may have just moved weird and caused a small rip.  He said we were fine to still have sex and this does happen to many women, nit to worry.  I would think as long as you aren't being crazy you are ok to stil have sex.  If you are concerend see you dc and let him know what happened.

ther is no information about female orgasm being unsafe in early pregnancy that is however as long as its a normal pregnancy, no bleeding pains etc.
orgasm make the uterus contract and produces chemicles that give the baby a high feeling it actually makes them happy and some reaserch has even shown it to be of great benifit for a babys brain development although as you have had bleeding i would ask your dr
good luck

found it just brought up the google page again

In rare cases, your doctor may advise against all forms of sexual activity that result in orgasm. During an orgasm, rhythmic, muscular contractions occur in the uterus. Sometimes, these contractions may have a harmful effect on your pregnancy.

u know it says rare, but the way it explained what happends scared me :(

im sorry laura, but i guess its all worth it keeping the bubba safe

ill try to find where i read the thing about the orgasams, i thnk its due to the muscles doing something that could be bad?

ill go search for it now and post it up

i had bleeding not last monday but the monday before, and now im not sure if i should or not so i have decided just to not have sex or any form of sexual contact with my partner, its hard but i feel better thinking that i am keeping it safe lol

I had bleeding in week 8 of my pregnancy and was told no sex until further notice. I didn't have sex for nearly 5 months..

You do what you have to do.. Wish I had better news.. Good luck and keep us posted.

as far as i know sex and orgasm should not be a problem as long as you do not have any bleeding after intercourse and you are not in high risk pregnancy category. If you do, the doctor may suggest for you not to have any more sexual intercourse until you pass the 3 months mark.
