holding your breath

Hi,
I had to go into a room where people there were lots of fumes and rather than breath them in and have them potentially affect the baby I decided to hold my breath, I had to go in and out so I held it a few times. Now I'm worried that I may have harmed the baby by holding my breath, does any one have any advice on this,
thankyou

I don't think holding your breath has any effect on the baby unless you were doing it to the point where you were having a serious lack of oxygen...
