hot flashes

I am having horrible hot flashes. Today at work it was horrible. I have not told anyone at work i pregnant yet, only 5 weeks, so could not ask at work what to do. Lol, but i feel like I'm going crazy. Anyone know of anything i can do to help with this?

lol oh yes! december feels SOOO far away!! haha well yeah that makes sense. maybe just a tank n undies. i have some shorts that are fleece and i can't wear them to bed for the life of me anymore if i do i wake up in a sweat. lol i just try to wear the lightest clothing i can possible to bed, and if need be put the fan on me!

Yes the joys and such a long road we still have. Sleeping naked sound nice but might scare my daughter that some nights sneaked in my bed in the middle of the night lol.

And maybe try sleeping naked ? That helps me A LOT maybe put a fan towards ya  too.

Crazymomma lol I am 6 Weeks today n i'm in the same boat as you! I get them like none other no matter how much water I drink. Then like 5 mins later i'm freezing lol. Oh the joys of pregnancy (;

Thank you. Yes drinking lots of ice water, but also makes me and the bathroom having lots of bonding time lol. Also making it so hard to sleep

I have them but not very often im almost 23 weeks now but i had one about a week and a half ago because i was in a really hot room.. i just do my best to cool myself off and get some water that seems to help it past. I also focus on steadying my breathing

Drink lots of water and have a little fan with you. I was using papers, books anything I could get my hands on. My hot flashes went away shortly after five weeks. Hopefully the same goes for you :) good luck
