incomplete but stopped bleeding

hi everyone...

I just have a question and wondering if  anyone may be able to help.

I had an incomplete miscarriage at 6 weeks, i've posted previously.

I"ve stopped bleeding now and have no cramps at all, (bleed for 8 days) my bloods (hCG) was at 2850 last weekend now a week later they are 59.
I thought this was good but the doctor seems to think there might still be material left inside.
my cervixs is closed.

A : doesn't it take a while for hCG to do down?
B : If i've stopped bleeding doesn't that mean my uterus has expelled material?

another doctor told me that i would keep bleeing if it hadn't.
ahhh confused...
any help would be appreciated.
I'm scard to get a D&C done, i'd rather do it all naturally...and to me it sounds as if i have.....any similar experiences?

i've had 2 miscarriges one about 6 wks 1 about 2-3 wks i didn't have d&c it caused me to get a really bad infection the last one i ended up in the hospital this past oct. had the miscarriage in feb. just be careful. the doctor can give you pills to cause you to bleed heavy to clean you out. thats what my dr. did the first time after 2 shots of pcn. so ask him about the pills .
