is there any chance of ovulation during period?

Hi..i've been ttc for last 2 years...Aug 21st is the my last menstrual period...then 7th day of my period i 've underwent HSG(hystero salpingogram).after that i got my period on september 19th.It was very abnormal...i just spotted continuosly for 14 days...but no bleeding...only spotting and heavier spotting...Doctor suggested to take mediaction..i started on my 13th day onwards..so my spotting is completely stopped that following day...on 14th day..i did ovulation test...it shows ovulation result...positive...that night we had intercourse..next day morning when i wipped with tissue...i saw some brown blood...that day...two times i saw...little spotting to my panty...now i m not getting i am in confusion...is der any chance of  ovulation during my period time..?because next day i saw spotting..is it still period?.so now i m ovulated or not...?.plz help me...

i heard you could not have both.  But it sounds like you did.  I know you can have spotting during ovulation from the ovulation.  Hope this helps
