loosing weight

Hi everyone!! I'm 12w5d and I've been loosing massive amount of weight. I've been eating and drinking like I should but in the past 2 weeks I've lost about 10 pounds. I see my ob on Wednesday so ill bring it up then. Has this happened to anyone else?? Does this mean my baby's not growing properly? :(

As long as baby is growing you should be fine! My son is 8 days old. I lost weight off an on throughout with a total of 12 lb gain at full term. I am now 2lbs less than the time of conception. It's nice! Baby weighed 7lb 10oz at birth, totally healthy and completely perfect!

I was really sick from 5 to 10 weeks but I wasnt loosing then.. I actually started to loose once I wasn't sick. I saw the ob and he said the weight loss is normal in a lot of women and the baby's still growing fine and has a really strong heart beat. Thank God! I do have a yeast infection tho but it has nothing to do with the weight loss

Have you been really sick? I lost fifteen pounds with my dd and she was totally healthy. But you do need to bring it to their attention.

Well it depends really, were you tiny to begin with, or overweight? If you were overweight I would not worry too much. I started out overweight and lost 20lbs at the beginning of my pregnancy and still have not gained it all back but my boy is still healthy as ever! I think docs are only really concerned when you are tiny to begin with.
