metformin and femara

hello ladies
i am a 26 yr old female sho never been pregnant..i dont ovulate and i havve pcos i been on  metformin femara and provera for a month now..i havent ovulated this month so we are going to do provera to started  my cycle again.. i have tried clomid 50mg-150 for six cycles and didnt ovulated at all..my questions is should i take femara again this month or moved on to injections? how long did it take for these drugs to work for you?

I didn't even know about Femara until after I had already taken Clomid, so I didn't do any research on it.  But from what I understand, Femara has fewer side effects compared to Clomid and it seems to work better for women with PCOS.

i dont think the femara worked this month im using provera to induce my period again..i called my doctor and he up my dosage..i just dont want the same results with clomid so i am worried

Hi.  

I used Clomid for one cycle and it worked.  Did you ovulate on Femara?  Some women with PCOS have better luck with Femara than they had with Clomid.
